Challenge:

Launch a new phone OS into a marketplace dominated by incumbents. Previously a market leader, the OS had been overtaken and now put a completely new offering on the market. With 8 months to build credibility and buzz from announcement to launch, we had to find a way to keep interest high.

Solution:

Launch a community before availability to get everyone buzzing, then extend to public social channels post launch and use ongoing social listening to guide and feed the conversation.
